BRAZING

Copper Phos Brazing Rod

Copper to Copper
(Copper Phos Brazing Rod)

The Phosphorus present in Copper-Phosphorus alloys makes the alloy self-stripping on red coppers. They are mainly intended for Copper-Copper and Copper-Brass joint assemblies.

Copper to Brass

(Silver Copper Phos Brazing Rod)

The addition of silver in Copper-Phosphorus alloys lowers their liquidus temperature. This addition also makes it possible to refine the grain, improve the electrical conductivity and increase the ductility of the alloy. They are mainly intended for Copper-Copper and Copper-Brass joint assemblies.

Dissimilar Materials

(Silver Brazing Rod)

These silver alloys are used to braze: Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass, Bronze, Nickel and Copper, all ferrous and non-ferrous metals (except aluminum and manganese). The presence of silver in large quantities makes it possible to produce alloys whose melting temperatures are relatively low. Silver brazing rod are used for dissimilar joint assemblies.

Aluminum Brazing Rod.jpg

Aluminum to Aluminum
(Aluminum Brazing Rod)

Alloy is designed for brazing magnesium-free aluminium parts. Non-corrosive flux is mixed inside the metal rod, melting point is 575 - 585°C. Signifincant development efforts to simplify and optimise this class of brazing alloys have resulted in improved stability and repeatability of aluminium brazing operations.

Silver Brazing Flux

Silver Brazing Flux

The flux must dissolve the remaining oxides, its increasing fluidity guides the operator when introducing the filler metal. A good flux delays the vaporization of the elements. Once the metal is molten, part of the flux vaporizes and another part will form residue. After brazing, the parts are freed of their flux (residue) by rinsing with hot water or mechanically.
