Plony Industries provides a comprehensive range of timber processing services in Singapore from our in-house facility at TimMac@Kranji. From cut-to-size timber and plywood through to wood chemical treatment, fire retardant treatment and surface finishing — all services are performed at our own facility by trained personnel, giving contractors and builders a single point of contact for supply and processing.

Surface Finishing — Planing and Sanding
Sawn timber has a rough surface as cut from the sawmill. For applications where the timber surface will be visible or touched — decking, flooring, handrails and visible structural members — we provide planing and sanding to produce a smooth, even surface finish ready for installation or coating.

Chemical Pressure Treatment — LONZA Authorised
As an authorised LONZA service provider, Plony applies TANALITH CCA wood preservative treatment under vacuum and high pressure at a vacuum tank. Treatment penetrates deep and uniformly throughout the timber — significantly more effective than brush-on applications.

Chemical Pressure Treatment — TANALITH CCA
Plony Industries is an authorised LONZA service provider for chemical pressure treatment of timber and wood products. The vacuum pressure process impregnates timber with chemical solution under controlled vacuum and high pressure conditions — ensuring the solution penetrates deeply and uniformly throughout the timber, providing long-lasting protection that brush-on treatments cannot match.
Treatment is carried out at a vacuum pressure tank by trained personnel. A servicing certificate is issued upon completion — required for project compliance documentation.
TANALITH CCA Preservative Treatment

TANALITH CCA is a water-based preservative treatment that protects timber against:

DRICON is an industrially applied fire retardant that:

SOLIGNUM Brush-On Wood Treatment
In addition to chemical pressure treatment, Plony Industries distributes and applies SOLIGNUM brush-on wood treatment solutions for site application. Brush-on treatment is suitable where pressure treatment is not practical — for example, on existing installed timber, site maintenance or smaller treatment areas. Our technical team provides the brushing application service for timber supplied by us.
