Signifincant development efforts to simplify and optimise this class of brazing alloys have resulted in improved stability and repeatability of aluminium brazing operations.
Silver Brazing Flux
The flux must dissolve the remaining oxides, its increasing fluidity guides the operator when introducing the filler metal. A good flux delays the vaporization of the elements. Once the metal is molten, part of the flux vaporizes and another part will form residue. After brazing, the parts are freed of their flux (residue) by rinsing with hot water or mechanically.
